How do you undo a Work order issue from previous month, without reopening a period or Inventory Adjustment

I think you would have to create an Assembly Unbuild transaction

We can unbuild? Even though we didn’t build it? What I mean is we didn’t use build assembly transaction we used WIP

Oh sorry you’ve only posted a WO Issue and not the completion? If the WO is built you can still do the Unbuild even if you used WIP. But since it sounds like only the WOI is done, I’ve used the WO Close transaction for that but I think it doesn’t put the raw components back into inventory. It just moves the costs to a variance account I think reopening the period is the only way or inv adjustment if you are trying to get the raw components back

Yeah that’s what I thought so as well, they don’t want to reopen period, I also suggest inventory adjustments which also something they don’t want
