Hi All, i have a specific question about manufacturing, if there is a standard product which is being manufactured, and if the company offers flexibility to have a customized print on it how this can be handled in Netsuite For Ex. a plain T shirt is being manufactured, however now company wants to offer customer flexibility to provide a design and that can be printed on T-shirt. Instead of creating new items everytime for such custom T-Shirts which will require to have 100's of items getting created, what are the other options available?

Done this before not for T-Shirt, but essentially created a custom item. So instead you would have a custom t-shirt item. The customization details could be handled as line item properties or a custom record

You can also try the Item Options feature if that'll work you.

We used custom record to cater with different variations/customizations allowed to be selected by customer. That table defines the materials that will be consumed. We also added some script to it.
