Hi all, quick noob question here...Whats the advantage of using WO WIP and then completing backflush over using a non-wip assembly build? Is it just the posting to the WIP account?

functionality-wise...yes. WO WIP allows you to separate the consumption (i.e. issuance) of component units from generation of assembly units (completion) then finalized by creationg a WO Close to tie out cost. The costing implications of either option is also pretty stark.
