On the communication Tab on the item record, I am trying to attach the file, and I am getting this error, that says "Only PDF files can be printed with BOM but when I told that to my quality department they said they have traveler,router, work instructions, quality plans, drawing, specifications, pictures etc. in different formats, they would like to attach it to the BOM and printed with it to give it to production team. NS Support said this is an enhancement, has anyone faced this issue before?

I mean, you could always come up with an XML to PDF script where you insert images/PDFs - but that only adds a few additional formats for you, and likely screws all the formatting up

Yeah it might and he said they edit those documents often so then they have to back track that and edit it in original form and translate back
