Hi, we are implementing NetSuite and looking for advise. We manufacture metal parts and would like to setup the system so that we are able to track availability of sheet metal in inventory as well as manufactured finished parts by its revision in finished goods. A) What UOM have you used for sheet metal to best track consumption and availability. B) How are you tracking sheet metal “sections” not fully consumed? We also assemble serialized product that consume serialized components and subassemblies. For warranty purposes we must be able to track what serial number was consumed for each product. How are you setting this up? I’m sure I’ll have lots more questions, but these are key for us to start on the right foot. Thanks
