I'm trying to record payments in NetSuite, so I'm trying to initialize an Invoice Record to a Customer Payment. I'm getting this error

Permission Violation: You need a higher level of the 'Transactions ->
    Customer Payment'

However, the role I'm using for this integration definitely has the Transactions -> Customer Payment permission set to "Full". Has anyone seen something like this before. I've opened a ticket with NetSuite but hoping someone else has seen this before and knows how to fix.
