are custom segments available API now? they weren't a few years ago ...

yeah they made things much simpler in 2019.2, I believe

@Jon Kears - NS support just replied to me: Upon checking the enhancement attached to this case, the enhancement is still not rolled out into Production. I have checked also the Records Browser, and still no available record for Custom Segments. If you also try to edit a Custom Segment, and via console, do an nlapiGetRecordType(); -- it still returns null.

oh sorry yes you're right - I was talking about referencing custom segments in transactions. Previously it was a real pain to do this
