There's a small difference though. I don't seem to be able to find out how to close a line item from the UI at all. SuiteAnswers says:

On the Items subtab of the sales order, click the line you want to close.

Check the box in the Closed column, and click Done."

yet, I don't have a "Closed" column for my items
