When you save a voiding JE - it changes the approval status to Approved, even if the workflow is pushing it to be pending approval. Best way to resolve? Workflow is initiating on create , but when saved, it swaps to approved, even tho it should be in pending approval state.

As the unapproved JE has not posted can you just reject the JE. There is nothing to void as has t posted so I guess NS is doing what was asked. Enter (approve) the transaction then Void it. Better to just reject.
