I have a Workflow that we want to disable (and may want to re-enable at some point).
What is the "proper" way to temporarily disable?

If I am editing the Scripted Record page, I have choices under the Workflow status:  `Released` `Testing`  `Suspended` `Not Initiating`
It looks like any of the latter 3 will disable the workflow.

There is also an option to check "Inactive" on the Workflow itself.

Sounds liek suspended was kinda designed for temporary stoppage imo
