Basically, the ask is to update the header level Ship Date when each line is fulfilled to the next soonest Expected Ship Date on the lines of the Sales Order. So every time a line is fulfilled, it needs to bump that date again. Obviously, if they manually change the expected ship date, it works fine as an after record submit. I have been advised to use a WF if at all possible.
