Interesting thing happening. I have a workflow that transitions between stages via button clicks on a Sales Order. Upon entry of the next stage a field on the sales order gets set in the Entry trigger. I can see in the workflow log that the Set Field Value action is being executed and set with the proper value, but the field does not take the value. Nothing in the UI, nothing in the System Notes. Doesn't happen every time, just on occasion, but it throws the rest of the workflow off. I've checked for other workflows or scripts running on the same field, but haven't found anything. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas?

I am seeing this right now on a quote approval workflow also

Same. Ours is an approval workflow of sorts as well. When an order gets stuck like this I have to basically start the order at the beginning of the approvals and move it forward again. Then it seems to work fine. Interesting.

very - wondering if 2019.2 is at fault

2019.2 has been hard on us; I wouldn't doubt it. It's not a new workflow - been in place for quite a while. We're just now seeing this happen this week. Upgraded a few weeks ago.

public holiday on Tuesday in Aus, so everyone took Monday off too. Will let you know how the rest of the week goes!
