Hi all. I have a task to give the user a field on a vendor or customer form for them to enter a new external id. upon create, or update, i need to read that value the user entered and then assign it to the external id. I've been told it can be done in a workflow, but when creating an action to update the field, it is not in the list of fields to update. Anyone know if this can be done in a workflow or script?
