I'm just starting to use workflows. Is there a way to send a saved search (csv export) in an email when a record is created or updated?

Hi Hana. Yes, but easier with a saved search email if I am not mistaken.

I am only able to send csv exports based on the schedule. I am wanting to email these csvs with every change. I can set up duplicates of the saved search for each hour I want to send out but that is a lot of duplication and I will have to edit each search every time I need to fix the search.

I don't believe this can be done without scripting

@Hana Roessler You cannot just send emails using the 'send email alerts when records are created/updated' option (rather than a schedule)? This is very easy to do in saved searches, so I want to make sure you've fully explored the options there.

@James Morris the problem I am having there is that it sends only the record that has been updated instead of the entire saved search in a csv file.

hrmm...see what you mean. Let me take a peek, I think there's some trick here to get what you want.
