I have a workflow that sets a field value (calculated dollar amount) based on the values of 3 other fields. Basically it multiplies the 3 fields to set a projected revenue value in the set field. It works great when directly editing the record, but if I edit any of the 3 fields inline (direct list edit) the Projected Total does not update. It will only update if I open the record and save it again. Anybody run into this issue before?

is it a custom field? if so you could do a formula directly in the field

I ended up moving the workflow to a script. There were some other factors at play that I did not mention in the original question. The users have the ability to override the calculation and manually set a projected total, so calculating the field wasn't a great option. We are testing the script now and I think it is going to fit the bill. Thanks for the response though.
