Having two different users saying they are unable to view any items. Both have different roles but If I log in as that role I am able to view any item...They don't have any restrictions on their employee record..any ideas?

The only thing i can think of is the role restriction there are restriction in two places, check both and ensure they say none- no default

no nothing new...it only seems to be affecting employees who are new in the last couple months...maybe post NS update...It does not looks to be a role or permission issue but rather the employee itself

I've had similar behavior in the past where I yanked access and granted it back and it fixed it - as though the role partially deployed to the user. I've also had similar issues where a role corrupted, and had to be deleted/recreated.
Also - make sure they have recently cleared their chache

Thanks Kevin, i tried yanking the access and granting it back an no luck. Older users can use the same role and have no issues. They say they have cleared cache and tried different browsers. Tried this morning to make their employee role inactive and recreated them a new employee record and that seems to be working for now...so odd
