If we use the plus symbol to add a ship-to address on a transaction, than save the transaction, the addressee field pull down is set to “custom” when we reopen the transaction. The new address is added to the customer record and the correct address remains on the record. This seems to be a new issue. I would love to hear if others can duplicate this.
