I am trying to get the total of unbilled orders in a saved search for sales orders but there is no field for this nor is can I use Formula(Currency) = {overallunbilledorders}. Any ideas how I can get this in a saved search result?

Have you tried "Amount Unbilled" {amountunbilled}? I believe that field filtered to main line would work
