In my case saved search and I am getting data on related records. If the search returns 5 records, is it possible to restrict this to the last one created? I have a custom data completed field, which I can use, but not sure how to show the search return just one record.

It sounds like you might need to filter the results once you have them. I'm not sure you can get the latest unless there's some funky formula you can write...
