i want to report on sales for the last 13 whole months. ie, if today's date is 2021-06-25, i want all sales from 2020-05-01, up to and including today. any tips on achieving this?

thought there was no "quick filter" for this, but there is (in a saved search):
on or after `start of last month one fiscal year ago`

If you _need_ to exclude dates after today, combine this with:
on or before `today`

no after today is fine - i'll check the start of last month one fiscal year ago option

it doesn't appear to be an option for the Report Builder unfortunately

I'm sure I could torture report builder into doing it with multiple columns and alternate reporting periods.

Would probably require doing something like setting your period for 1 year and 1 month ago and then having a column for this fiscal year.
