Has anyone been able to add custom segments in Budget vs Actual reports? Custom segments do not seem to be an option under the "Budget and Financial" fields, so there isn't a way to compare custom segment budget values in the same row as actuals

There's a short conversation thread from 3 days ago (look for @Nicolas Bean) that suggests it's not possible; they can only be added separately from budget and financial sections. This is frustrating having just set up some custom segments in our instance expecting we'd be able to do this come July and the start of our new financial year.

It's definitely frustrating! We recently went down this path with ACS only to find out when we tried to add the custom segment to the budget reports that it couldn't be done. There were some clunky work arounds offered, which I can't remember. We ended up using an existing segment - Location - that we were not really utilizing. We had one location defined during our initial setup but it wasn't used for anything. This works for us for now, but if we ever need that segment for its intended purpose we'll have a problem.

Dang, very frustrating! Thank you all for confirming. I will try filing a SuiteIdea if there isn't one already.
