Is it possible to get the PO quantity related to the member item of a kit in an Item saved search? I used member fields... Joins but I can only get into into the transaction document no. Only. Our kits have one member item only (just a workaround). We can't use transaction saved search since we want to show all the items (not only the ones with transactions). Is there a workaround for this if it's because of the limitations on joins?

One work around would be to use a Summary Saved Search to populate a Custom Field on your Item. Saved Search could be your PO transactions, Filtered by Item.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I actually need open quantity for alll open POs that contain that member item. So, I think a summary saved search won't work?

It will work. You would include that ‘open’ criteria on your summary saved search.

Actually, yes. For as long as all these open POs will appear there. But if it's doable as a sublist, isn't it doable as well as a saved search? Or is it because I should use a transaction saved search instead of item saved search to show them as a sublist?

Yes, that's the idea. Putting the transaction saved search as sublist will allow you to go the extra join.
