is it possible to add the column selector in the footer of a custom report?  I created a transaction report (tried all ; summary, matrix, detailed) but cannot seem to figure out how to have the column selector that is available in the footer of standard reports.

Do you mean the thing that lets you pick how you split the columns (i.e. period, subsidiary, location etc)? I only recall ever seeing that on financial reports.

in a custom report i can set a static column if i choose matrix, but cannot seem to be able to switch the column on same report like you can with oob reports

I didn't realize that was available on non financial reports anyways.

You might be better off taking a OOB report and modifying that if you can include the desired records in the report
