Does "Use Expressions" work on Highlighting criteria in Saved Searches? I create a highlight criteria like Name starts with 'A' AND ( Date is Empty OR Date is before Today). After I save it, the expression removes the brackets and defeating my criteria.

While it does look like a defect NS consider it an Enhancement # - 196430 Summary: Saved Search &gt; Highlighting tab : Use Expressions = T, Parentheses specified are not saved.

That said - can't you just set up 2 rules to do the highliting?

Work around is to use formula. Or what <@UER9Q3SGM> said.

yep, i used multiple rules to achieve the same. The presence of the Use Expressions tick box looked attractive.
