Basic Reports question. We have several 'Open Orders' reports people have created over time and there is frustration because they can't get the actual ship date. The actual ship date is updated automatically on the SO when the fulfillment is marked as shipped - but I don't think I can get to this field on an Open Sales Orders Report - even though an SO that is 'Pending Billing' is considered 'open' and has one. I know that saved search is the answer and I've already done that, but I want to verify that this is actually correct?

I think that is correct. It's a calculated field, and therfore not visible on reports

Could you copy the calculated field into a custom field and use that field?

It's not all that great a field anyways - it relies on some shoddy logic.

Fair enough. If something isn't available through native means, i've usually just created a new field, copied the value i couldn't get to the new field and use that.

I just need to get them to stop using open order reports to track shipping.
