I’m about to dive into SuiteAnalytics Workbooks. Curious what you folks have seen as been the best implementations/uses of workbooks? Anything that shows the power of the workbooks that wouldn’t have been just as good in a saved search/report?

Additional joins and usage of nodes/fields that are not exposed to Saved Searches have been the two biggest uses in my case.

For me it is definitely the multi-join capabilities: causes so many hidden custom fields sat on records to become redundant which I have used previously to build the saved searches I needed

Currently the data set is more useful than the workbook itself because of the multi join. As you can't export the workbook if the business want to make use of charts etc. they download the dataset to Excel and do all the analysis there. The biggest issue we find is the performance, it takes a lot longer to return data and the only suggested solution is to apply more filters...it's a YTD Sales list, we're 7 months into the year it's going to have a lot of data!
