can you share screenshots of your setup?

Sure. Here's the setup before the requirement to have that sub-location's on hand showing:

So, then I added the simple decode formula on the results, but it didn't work (also doesn't work using the internal id), so I thought maybe it was due to the criteria setting the inventory location
So I tried to source ALL of the information I needed as a decode formula as well and remove the inventory location criteria. But there is also a criteria of location available is less than location reorder point, that needs to be filtered to only the one warehouse.
But even if I remove all the criteria to filter by location, it still doesn't work:

Your criteria is split to just the warehouse.
"inventory location is vancouver warehouse"

For you to be able to do the sub location you'd have to add it to your criteria
Do you need the quote mark around the 4?
k
I tried that. I also tried removing the location criteria completely, it still comes up empty

It's a number, not text I believe.
k
It works both ways
I think I need to work on how I'm preventing the duplicate lines. I got it to work by removing all the location criteria.
There's just not much stock in that location, so I missed the fields with values the first time around

So I just tried it with my demo data and my formula works.
You'll probably need to turn your search into a summary search
and your criteria for picking the items to include probably needs to be a summary criteria
(for items below the reoder point
so you leave it as a case statement with 1 and zero - but change your summary criteria type to "sum" and make it greater than zero
most of your numbers probably get summarized as a "maximum" or "minimum" type (either should work)
Though you can try Sum as well.

Setting it up as a summary search works

I've never used the summary criteria before. Thanks!

You bet.
