Hmm, in a few of my client's environments we've started getting this SuiteQl error. Has anyone else seen this?
[{"detail":"Invalid search query. Detailed unprocessed description follows. Search error occurred: Unknown table: AiContext AS aicontext.","o:errorQueryParam":null,"o:errorCode":"INVALID_PARAMETER"}]
Our query is quite simple and hasn't changed
Copy code
SELECT recordid, recordtypeid FROM deletedrecord WHERE recordtypeid in ('invoice','creditmemo','invoicegroup') AND deleteddate > to_date('2026-08-18', 'yyyy-mm-dd') AND deleteddate <= to_date('2026-08-21', 'yyyy-mm-dd') AND deleteddate > to_timestamp_tz('2026-08-19 20:36:36 00:00', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss tzh:tzm')

If it runs as an admin, i'd verify permissions on the role that is calling the query

Hey thanks for the suggestion. I don't have that level of access to the environment to explore. As of now we have submitted a ticket to NetSuite - I'm guessing there's a weird issue with the 2026.2 release. Thankfully it's only affecting a small % of our clients so far.

This
Unknown table: AiContext
suggests it’s trying to do some sort of behind-the-scenes JOIN on a new AI table. Sigh…. who wanted this?

Looks like the issue stopped later yesterday

I guess they took "AI Everywhere" to mean E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E. It's like a Bond villain planting the bombs in all the key places so they can push that big red button.

Our company has been heavily encouraging us to try to use AI. I’ve been a good little worker and trying to throw my weird NetSuite questions at Claude and it flat out LIES to me every time. Huge time waster.
Claude seems to not really know anything about NetSuite. To be fair, a lot of the documentation isn’t really accessible without login, but still, don’t just tell me random sh*t if you cannot cite your sources.
s
Yep, it's a challenge with the login-gated documentation.

My new company uses Claude, and I've found uses. Not so much in NetSuite, but OAC (NSAW) type stuff only confuses it semi-often. Which is better than 'nearly all the f'ing time' when I played with it in NetSuite proper. I use it a lot as a rubber duck to help me brainstorm. Oh, and Excel formulas. I hate Excel formulas, so that's nice. Didn't know about the login-gated stuff though. Is there a process to get around/through that?
j
The MAIN thing I use it for is Excel stuff. I actually really like Excel formulas, but sometimes I can’t be arsed to figured it out and Claude is good at interpreting Jen-ese to transform data into what I need.

My real fun is when I have SQL on the oracle side and have to write SuiteQL for validation. That's "fun".

Claude is pretty good at SPA apps now which is pretty handy
It works best if you have something for it to reference. Out of the box doing it is so so
