🚀 New SuiteCloud SDK Releases Available We’re excited to announce new releases for the SuiteCloud development tools! The latest releases introduce an updated experience for project validation and deployment, with improved output that includes progress information, summaries, warnings, and errors. 📦 What’s New: • SuiteCloud Extension for Visual Studio Code 4.0.0 – Updated project validation and deployment output. ◦ Node 24.00 Required for this version. • SuiteCloud CLI for Node.js 4.0.0 – Updated project validation, preview, and deployment output. Server validation now runs by default, and local validation is no longer available. • SuiteCloud IDE Plug-in for WebStorm 2026.2 – Updated project validation and deployment output. ⚠️ Important for SuiteCloud CLI for Node.js Users If your CI/CD pipelines, scripts, or other automations use project validation or deployment, review them when upgrading to 4.0.0. The
project:validate --server
and
project:deploy --validate
options no longer affect command behavior. When used, they display a warning. These options should be removed from commands and automation. Because command output has also changed, scripts and other automation should not rely on or parse the existing CLI output format, including progress messages, validation results, deployment summaries, warnings, and errors. ⚠️ End of Support for SuiteCloud CLI for Java SuiteCloud CLI for Java has reached end of support. The last available version is 2025.2, and Oracle will no longer provide new releases, features, or issue fixes for SuiteCloud CLI for Java. The CLI will remain available for download until the NetSuite 2027.1 release. If you currently use SuiteCloud CLI for Java, plan your migration to one of the supported SuiteCloud development tools: • SuiteCloud CLI for Node.js • SuiteCloud Extension for Visual Studio Code • SuiteCloud IDE Plug-in for WebStorm 📦 Download the Latest Releases: SuiteCloud SDK Releases 📚 Learn More: • SuiteCloud Extension for Visual Studio Code Guide • SuiteCloud CLI for Node.js Guide • SuiteCloud IDE Plug-in for WebStorm Guide • SuiteCloud CLI for Java Guide We hope these updates provide a clearer and more consistent development experience across SuiteCloud tools. @Verónica, thank you for the update. My understanding is that SuiteCloud CLI for Node still uses Java under the hood. Is it planned to completely remove Java in the near future?

Hi @Pablo Vela, thank you for your question. Some parts of the CLI still rely on Java today. We’re continuing to work toward removing the remaining Java dependencies; however, we aren’t able to share a timeline at this time. We’ll communicate future updates through the SuiteCloud SDK release notes and documentation.
