Props to you for actually using it. It's been so long since i've attempted anything in it. I even sat through training on it.

It has gotten much less buggy in the last 2 years. 😄
but still lacks a lot WRT what can be plotted, etc.
g
That's definitely true, but I've yet to find a reason to actually use it. My pivots take forever to load. So I just use Excel if pivoting is needed
s
I have to write custom fields for each series I want to track, because of the various financial accounts, but once the data is there, the pivot seems to handle it OK..
especially once it's limited to Year/Month/Series..
I guess it depends on what you're doing with it.

I think I might have been pulling a tad too many results last time I was messing with it. Also, I was alway stumped by recreating case statements that work perfectly fine in a saved search but would fail due to different data types in analytics.

Yes, especially dealing with the transaction accounting line and transaction line..
field definitions are completely differnet
but at least they have a formula validator now!
g
That's the biggest struggle - the field definitions. Will probably get used to it once i actually start using it. For the life of me i couldn't figure out why my line amounts were coming in as negatives.
