The big thing to remember is that SDF won't delete anything with a script ID. And since in workflows, states, actions and transitions all have their own script ids, SDF will not delete them if you remove them from your workflow. Updates to these things and additions to workflows work well, but once you remove something, you need a manual process. As alien4u says, "nothing normal".
