I'm trying to report out a sum of amounts by month. The user is adamant that they need to see the posting period as the columns, a list of values from a custom transaction line field, and then the report values are a sum of amounts from transaction lines with that field. I couldn't figure out a way to do it via saved searched with columns like this, which is why I went to SuiteAnalytics. It's a really simple pivot table once the data is exported, so I could offer that solution you suggested. The issue is eventually the users want to find a way to automate this data into a BI-tool (or Salesforce) so they want to access it in NetSuite. But I'll tell them to hold their horses and this will have to be a solution for now. Thank you!
