Hi Everyone, I am facing a permission issue with a Warehouse Keeper role while working with Inventory Count transactions. The user has Edit permission for both Transactions → Count Inventory and Transactions → Create Inventory Counts. The user can initially open the Inventory Count in Started status, update the counted quantities, and save it successfully without any issues. However, once the Inventory Count is rejected, it is automatically moved back to the Started status so that the user can review, correct, and resubmit the count. Although the same user can successfully edit and save the transaction before it is rejected, they are no longer able to save it after rejection, despite the status being Started and the role having Edit permission. Instead, NetSuite displays the following error: "Permission Violation: You need a higher level of the 'Transactions -> Count Inventory' permission to access this page. Please contact your account administrator." Since the transaction returns to the Started status after rejection, I would expect the user to be able to update and resubmit it. Otherwise, I'm not sure what the purpose of reverting the status to Started is. Has anyone encountered this behavior before? Is there an additional permission, approval setting, workflow, or SuiteScript that could be causing this restriction?

Since the user can edit the Inventory Count before rejection but not after it's returned to Started, this doesn't look like a standard NetSuite permission issue. It's more likely caused by a custom workflow, SuiteScript, approval configuration, or role restriction that's triggered after rejection. I can help review the role permissions, workflow, and scripts to identify exactly what's blocking the save and get the resubmission process working correctly.
