What OS do you guys use? I've slowly been moving more of my workflow to Linux. So far it has been surprisingly smooth for the transition (outside of teams being unofficially supported)

MacOS 99% of the time for work. I have a custom gaming PC that I built right before the rampocalypse. I use my old gaming PC w/ Proxmox and spin up VMs to mess with and I keep an ubuntu laptop that I can just remote into for random linux dev stuff.

I use Windows. The lack of upgrade options in Macbook steers me away from Apple's silicon

Nick, Yeah that's annoying. Unfortunately a lot of the OEM's are starting to go solder all the things route. I had to mount a remote volume for additional storage on the macbook air. I will say the perf/$ is hard to beat enough.. You can also get a micro sd dock for a streamlined storage add in. creece, How do you feel about every version of mac os seemingly becoming more like iPad OS/iOS? Feels like they're slowly removing more power user options every release unfortunately.

I'm still rocking an m1 pro macbook and every OS update has been fine. Nothing has broken and everything just works. I rarely even restart it. Its my main computer for everything non-gaming. I even did some gaming on it back when I first got it and it was fine. I guess I don't do enough on it to really run into anything.
