whets the best way to remove a line on a sales order that has a WO tied to it? right now i'm tricking the system by switching the item on the sales order and then adding it back.

The ‘best’ way would be to remove the link to the WO. Delete the work order first.

For some scenarios this doesn't work for us because lets say the customer cancels the line item and we have a work order tied to it, we may end up putting the finished good from the work order to stock and we don't want to delete the WO
