I am a newbie with analytics. I am trying to pull an inventory list by location. I can link items to "locations" and get quantity available and on order, but I cannot seem to get the location name...

@Scot Sunnergren are you working with a saved search or with workbooks analytics?

Saved search is fine, just pull the inventory location, location on hand, location in transit and location on order.
