Writing this because I saw a couple conversations about BI solutions, and we just went through a successful implementation, so just wanted to share our experience with Power BI. It requires that you also have a OneDrive business account, but it's pretty robust and the free version suffices for most needs. We installed a connector built by Tactical Connect, which basically syncs saved searches to OneDrive/SharePoint and then allows you to embed the Power BI dashboards into custom portlets. I'm not affiliated with Microsoft or the company that built the connector, but I just wanted to let everyone know this is out there. It's made a huge impact on our reporting/dashboarding, since before that we were using iCharts, which is no longer in existence. Cheers!
