If the Dropship Vendor is generally the Preferred Vendor of an item, in your results, you can scroll down towards the bottom selection called Item Fields, select that, and then choose Preferred Vendor from the popup box

Yes, that's the thing it's not always the preferred Vendor... So when i try to do a SO saved search and click the "Applying Transaction" name it still shows the customer name instead of the Vendors

The Applying and Applied To Transactions have always seemed wonky to me, have you tried that, Applied To Transaction. If that's not the case, I'm not going to be able to be of much help because we don't drop ship anything and we don't have items for me to test 😮
