Yeah, formula fields don't work well with it unfortunately. There may be some way to do it via oracle sql statements similar to what was discussed in the links John and Michoel shared above when helping me, but I'm not aware of one off hand. Most of my work lately has been in SQL via an abstracted link to OBDC so I've gotten a bit out of shape with searches in NetSuite
