Is there a France regulatory requirement to relabel the journal code and journallib fields in the FEC report?
c
No, there is no regulatory requirement to change or relabel the technical field headers JournalCode and JournalLib themselves in the FEC report. For reference, you can review the official regulation here: https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/codes/article_lc/LEGIARTI000027804775/

Thanks, Cody. The site indicates it was last updated in 2013. Is that still accurate, or is that the latest information? Also, our accounting team has informed us that adding a prefix for customer and vendor names is mandatory for France. Can you confirm this?

The structural data requirements for the French FEC report, established under the Arrêté du 29 juillet 2013, have not changed. It still currently in effect.
and there is no direct statutory law in France that says you must physically prefix a customer or vendor's legal name with text inside your ERP.

Thank you very much🙏
@Cody Leffler D I have conveyed to our France Accounting team that there is no mandatory about the fields and prefix which you mentioned. They shared the link below and said that those are mandatory. I really don't understand it. I don't even know how to verify this. I thought they being an accounting team should know how to find this out. If you have any ideas please share it with me.
