so I am trying to do a price level CSV inport with the 2 file approach. I got to the point in my sandbox where pricing updates are happening but I have a question.. Our Price levels do not use a QTY rule for any kind of price break it is all done through Price Levels. When you do a CSV import for prices quantity is a mandatory field, what are my options here?
m
Set it to zero
a
I think I did that the first round and it kicked back an error

Check that item. What are the current quantity levels on it?
a
all my qty levels were 0, when I exported pricing saved search quantity was set to 1+ for all of the items though which I thought was weird
m
Then I would use 1 instead of zero
Are you doing add or update when importing
a
I did update
m
And it's an item import?
a
item - lot numbered assembly
m
Are you doing a multiple file import?
Or single file
a
yup 3 parter
2**
m
Hmmm weird
a
1
2
m
I know zero or 1 are both safe to use but usually zero works
1
a
so 1 isn't per piece for some reason right? - nevermind lol
want to make sure I'm not blasting everything (thank goodness for the sandbox)
so when a sales order is made it will take the newer entered number under the 1 qty than the 0 qty?
sounds correct in theory
m
I think because technically you would never enter a value less than 1 on a sales order the 0 and 1 quantity price level would have the same result
(well you might add quantity 0 but in that case price wouldn't matter anyway)
