I have company is doing discovery and curious what is the typical connector that people use for Shopify to Netsuite and what’s the ballpark range for price?

NetSuite’s Connector will be the cheapest if you just need a basic connector. Used to be the FarApp connector. If you need something more advanced, then look at Celigo.
