Is it creating the journal, and just not posting the segment?
k
Correct - the segments are just blank on the JE regardless of how I set it up so I must be messing up something on either the custom segment setup or the SVB Setup
k
Silly question - is your custom segment working on JEs?
With how they are deployed, it's feasible that it could be not checked to appear on the lines on JEs. Also - I wonder if any kind of header -> lines mismatch could be a problem
I presume you have looked at the user guide section 3.4?
3.4 Creating and Configuring Custom Segments for SVB
This looks to be key section: In the Applied column, select the checkbox next to the following values: • SVB | Bill Distribtn Sched Line: Applying the segment to this custom record enables the SVB solution to use the custom segment when distributing expenses. It also makes the custom segment list appear in the SVB | Bill Distribtn Sched Line record in the Destination area. • SVB | Bill Distribution Details: Applying the segment to this custom record enables the SVB solution to use the custom segment when distributing expenses. It also enables you to customize the SVB | Bill Distribtn Sched Line Schedule Lines view to display the new segment in the SVB | Bill Distribution Details table.

Yes and yes. The problem I think lies in the unified ID - a custom segment from the NFP bundle works fine but it has the legacy field ID and not the unified ID like a manually created segment
