Does anyone use NetSuite Records Timeline? It seems pretty useful but just wanted to understand how much it affects performance

We use it, I haven't noticed any performance issues.

It does depend how many transactions you pull into the timeline, I’ve noticed some performance issues when it’s installed on some more complex processes.

Thanks for the replies! I know a lot of it depends on the data shown in the searches and how many transactions are tied together, but what would you say was the longest it took to load? Also if you have a lot of users do you notice if it runs slower with the more rolesyou give access to view the timeline?

You can set the position of the timeline so it appears at the bottom, it's normally loaded by the time the user has scrolled down. Our sales process isn't particularly complex, the max invoices per SO would only be 12. I guess the longest its taken to load is about 5 seconds.

i rolled it out - didn't seem to impact performance as it would load after the record had loaded. Was a great help for on-boarding new staff as they could very quickly grasp the process flow for transactions & related transactions.
