Does anyone know if it’s possible (via script) to update revenue elements based on changes to the sales order lines? Specifically if I change a revenue start date on a sales order line, I would want the script to update the rev rec start date on the revenue element line to that same date.

You should be able to use the revenue field mapping for this use case
