If supply req.date (SRD) is within the item's lead time: commit against inventory based on sorting setup, and if stock = 0, allocate against PO that has expected receipt date within lead time. If SRD is outside item's lead time, set expected ship date = SRD and allocate to PO based on sorting setup. Is this possible? Solution: Use default order allocation strategy field on item record. Set up a bunch of those and blank default strategy on customer record.
