Our company has purchased licensing for Claude, and I've connected it to NetSuite. I'm getting errors that "Claude hit the maximum length for this conversation". This morning, it was one prompt asking to run a customer profitability analysis based on 2025 sales. It started by running a SuiteQL query, and never finished. Is anyone else getting this error?

Hey John, start a new chat about try again. You shouldn't hit that limit so quickly.

It's a limitation of the web UI plus the connector pulling data from NetSuite. The prompts, connector data, and responses all have to be under 200k using the UI. The only way to get deep analysis is to use the API apparently. I was able to get a good analysis of a monthly Income Statement yesterday, so it's not a total loss.

I referred to the name of the connector which I prefer not to disclose, and followed with: run a customer profitability analysis based on 2025 year to date invoiced sales. Group the data by Sales Rep, displaying in table format and adding any charts that can provide greater insight.

@John Finlay maybe try to adjust the prompt and say run a customer profitability report for our top X customers, so it doesn't try to run for all customers the expand until you hit the limit.

Claude's website is a very one-time, spreadsheet type approach to AI. Hitting the 200k limit is quite easy to do. I encourage companies to consider Claude and other LLM websites to be training grounds to prove out AI works for a company. But, when you are ready to productize AI and get repeatable solutions instead of "single prompt attempts" to seek an AI platform. Yes, we built Cauzzy AI for NetSuite to be this solution, but I'm not trying to just pitch us. Net net, use LLM websites (ie claude) like ad-hoc/one-time/training ground options....then when you want to really implement AI, seek a platform, i.e. Cauzzy AI for NetSuite, N8N, etc.
