Has anyone managed to copy forms for custom record types to a different account (that already has the same custom record type deployed to it using SDF)? I used the Copy to Account feature, but the preview was empty and it seems the deployment just did nothing. Has anyone found a way that works? Unfortunately SDF can't do it. Is SuiteBundler more likely to work?

Yup, SuiteBundler is more likely to work. Copy to Account is unreliable for custom record forms, and the empty preview is a common sign it will not deploy anything. SDF still cannot move these forms cleanly. Bundling the custom record type with the form usually gets it across, even if the record type already exists in the target, but expect some layout cleanup. If you need 100% certainty, manual rebuild is still the most reliable fallback.

Thanks, I'll try that. I don't see a way of importing custom record type forms to an SDF project, but can you deploy them if you put the xml together somehow?
