I have implemented WIP and Routing, one of my operational steps I'm just trying to gather time and not any price. I have put a cost center at 0.00 and I assigned it to the operational step but its still spitting out a cost when I finish a WO. Anyone know how to get around this?

Have you checked your manufacturing cost template and manufacturing cost items? Is there a purchase price set on the item?

purchase price on the finished assembly item you mean? I did create a cost template at 0.00 hoping that would do it

Manufacturing cost template requires you to select the charge items (non inventory type) for labor and machine cost categories. I am assuming its pulling the cost from those items. Secondly can you confirm if the cost is assigned once the operation is completed or at final operation completion?
