Smoking - 2/3 of male Chinese smokes thus suffers with COPD, Emphysema and other respiratory diseases. Now majority of the victims were elder men, who were already compromised. Similar situation might arise in India were smoking rate among men is almost same as China's, it may be worse than China because lack of healthcare and poverty. Its about time US should think about overhaul the healthcare landscape, govt is already spending the highest amount per capita among the OECD countries, not counting the private insurance and other healthcare costs.
